Ancroft can arrange searches in any jurisdiction in the world, providing basic or detailed information according to the client's requirements.

It may sometimes be essential to check out prospective customers to whom a client may wish to extend credit, or may seek to investigate company's competitors or suppliers. If any of these are limited companies, the starting point is to obtain basic details of the company, its directors, shareholders and copies of its accounts.

All information is obtained using the latest electronic image download technology and can be emailed within 1-2 days. Some older documents may be archived at the Registrars, which may delay delivery, but we would advise on this as soon as we receive your order.

For searches on offshore companies, we are only able to obtain a confirmation of a company’s existence, date of incorporation and the name of the Registered Agent (who holds detailed information on the company). Unfortunately no details on the company’s officers or any financial information is accessible, as there is no public access to the company’s details.
